Mariposa Blanca Beach House

La Mariposa Blanca Beach House is a spacious three bedroom beach front property.

It features a unique plan by an award-winning Panamanian architect with a passion for modern design.
The home includes a large infinity pool, and private access to the spectacular 12km long Las Lajas beach.

La Mariposa Blanca features a fully equipped interior kitchen as well as an outdoor kitchen / BBQ area, a huge upper balcony as well as a lower pool deck and covered terrace with dining and lounging areas.

All three bedrooms and the great room feature air conditioning and overhead fans. Fans are also installed on the lower covered terrace.
The ten person dining table as well as the beds, desktop and accent furniture were created by a Panamanian craftsman from local tropical hard wood.

The Area

La Mariposa Blanca Beach House Vacation Rental is located on Playa Las Lajas, on the Gulf of Chiriqui in Western Panama. The magnificent 12 Km beach is unspoiled and uncrowded. The warm Pacific waters are great for swimming, boogie-boarding and other water activities.

From Playa Las Lajas you can explore the attractions in the beautiful and diverse Chiriqui province either on your own, with a local tour company or with the suggestions of our Airbnb Managers.

Las Lajas is less than an hour’s drive from David, Chiriqui’s capital and the commercial and transport hub of Western Panama. Located in David is the Enrique Malek International Airport.

From Las Lajas you can easily make day trips to Boca Chica, Boquete or Volcan. Explore some of the many islands or go sport fishing in the Gulf of Chiriqui.

This place is fantastic the views are incredible i nodded out several times with the soothing sound of the ocean not one mosquito bite after diving in the ocean waves went back to the house rinsed off and relaxed in the pool highly recommend this panamanian paradise

Beautiful house on a beautiful beach. This is a well-designed house with both wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. Great kitchen with everything you need to make just about anything you want. The pool was a nice feature and especially during high tide. I really appreciated the working space upstairs because I had an online class the entire week we were there. We loved all of the games and places to relax on the patio. It’s a very quiet area and if you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is your place. But, just like anywhere in Panama, the chitras can be annoying, bring some bug spray.

Great place, attention to detail with kitchen and other amenities. All six of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property manager was really great and dual-hatted as our chef, suggested and created two very memorable dinners. Highest recommendations.
